Future Projects from the Director

In the future, it seems that this film definitely provided Ryan Coogler the inspiration to keep exploring scary storytelling.

The director has already announced an X-Files reboot in the works.

Discussing what else drives his choice to revive the classic show, he explained:

Like my relationship with the Rocky series and my father, the show is deeply meaningful for my mother.

My mom is everything for me — she is present this evening — therefore, this represents an important endeavor to me.

I aim to do right by her as well as supporters. My mom has looked at part of the material I wrote for it. She’s excited.
